    Last nights yoga practice. Not bad for a girl who couldn’t touch her toes a little over a year ago. I’ve been practicing yoga everyday for a few months now. Everything that I’ve learned has been self taught and I think I’ve come pretty far on my own. A few years ago I was diagnosed with spinal arthritis and a few other painful spinal disorders. I’ve gone through several rounds of steroid shots, countless medications and alternative treatments over the years. I’ve even had all the nerves burned off of my lower spine. But nothing has really helped me be pain free as much as yoga has. Seeing what I can do now, and what I’ve accomplished so far, is a far cry from the girl who was in chronic pain for too many years. And that’s a pretty damn good feeling.
